The Carnelian Intaglio Charm is an 18K gold pendant made to go on the Hook Bead Chain. The intaglio is likely a later revival piece (18th–19th century) and depicts a long-horned bull or aurochs-type figure. The symbolism of the long-horned bull in ancient times was strength, protection, prosperity, and fertility. 
When the Carnelian Intaglio Charm is worn on the Hook Bead Chain at the standard 15" length the necklace length is 15 1/4 inches. You have the option to choose a longer length chain. If you are adding to your charm collection you can buy the charm alone.
